Almshouses – How to Apply

All 18 almshouse are currently occupied. However, the Trust welcomes applications from potential residents – to apply, download and complete the application form below, or contact the Clerk, Paul Cunningham, at bungaytowntrust@yahoo.com or by post to Bungay Town Trust, 16 Broad Street, Bungay, NR35 1PW to request a paper copy of the application form.

Please note: it is essential that almshouse residents are able to care for themselves, with the assistance of family and Social Services etc as necessary – for almshouses, this is called ‘independent living’ and is essential for almshouse residents. You will be asked in this form to confirm that you are capable of independent living.
