Who We Support

Bungay Town Trust has always made donations to support organisations within the Town, and although the amounts vary depending on other commitments, they have in the past funded such varied projects as the lights for St Mary’s Churchyard, sets of chairs and a mobile stage for Town use, plus sporting and youth facilities as requested. Since 1985 the Trust has donated over £200,000.

In 2024-25 we gave grants totalling £7000 to the following organisations / good causes:

• Bungay Tennis Club: £500 towards replacement of floodlights with LED lights
• Bungay Area Community Transport (BACT): £5000 towards replacement of a minibus
• Scouts & Guides: £500 towards attendance at international guiding jamboree
• Town Reeve’s fundraising for Fisher Theatre: £1000
